Creating a Virtual Concert

Ensemble Unit - January through March

This unit will have three components:

1. Webquest on composers - with ensemble group
2. Performance of ensemble to create a podcast - with ensemble group
3. Book 2 activities

You will find the instructions linked to each area. All groups will be given time during class to complete the ensemble unit.

The goals of the unit include:

1. connecting music and history
2. cooperative learning
3. incorporating technology
4. performance expectation
5. improved listening skills

Evaluation of this activity will include rubrics, performance evaluation and self evaluation. This activity will be graded on a pass/fail basis. If you participate and do your best you will pass!
